I'm WAY behind on posting! My computer was acting up last week and Levi has it for the weekend to try to fix it.
I think I only exercised 2 times last week. My last post here was Monday. I did the Pilates video and Oteo DVD on Tues. or Wed. and that was it for the week! :(
This week is going to be better!
Sunday, Nov. 28: Jogged 2 miles, walked 1/2 mile = 30 minutes.
Monday: Pilates video and Osteo. DVD = 30 minutes.
Tuesday (today): nothing!

Jogged yesterday with Alicia. I jogged about 4.5 miles and walked 2. -.3 miles! My "jog" at the end was barely above a walk, but I kept going! Alicia did almost 6 miles!
I soaked in the tub afterward. My thighs were sore from my Pilates workout the day before. Feeling good this morning; just a little sore.
I'm thinking of running the half marathon in the spring. It seems a stretch, but I think if I join the training group I can do it.

Well, I'm way behind on posting!
I left for S. Carolina on Thurs., Oct. 28. I walked for at least 30 minutes in the airport, since my plane was delayed.
Didn't walk Friday.
Sat.: 30 minute brisk walk in cool air with older g-children. 15 minute slow walk with younger g-children.
That's it for that week: 1 day short of my goal.
It now gets worse: Sunday, Oct. 31 did a 2-hour kayak with a group (incuding old friends from Mich.) in Charleston. It wasn't very rigorous until the end and we were going against the wind. I'm definitely counting it because it's the only day of exercise I got in that week. I could maybe count walking at the outlet mall? Or how about washing windows - big, tall windows?? Giving a squirmy 9 month old a bath, and then a slippery/slidy 2 year old the same?
Basically, I only got in one day. My tennis shoes were ready and my intentions were good, but just fitting in with life with 8 children and having a good time with them seemed the priority. We worked on their school lessons, so I was getting back to a different kind of exercise; that of the mind. I'm not trying to fudge here. The days were so busy and so many needs, that I decided to put off exercising. At the end of the week 4 more cousins arrived, which added to the gaiety of the group! So I had a week off my exercise routine; in order to truly concentrate on family. It was worth it to take a few days off ti truly engage with them,
That now brings us to this week: No exercise Sunday or Monday, Today (Tuesday) walked 20 minutes on treadmill and jogged 10 minutes. I'm determined to get at this!
